What do you mean by case-to-case basic for OCs?

We mean that we’re not just going to automatically accept all OCs. They need to be believable, especially within TVD. So people are welcome to submit their OC applications, but we reserve the right to have final judgement on whether or not we think they’d work well in the game. But we do encourage you to apply!

Personality: Bonnie Bennett is the type of girl who would do anything for those she loves, and even sometimes those she hates, even if it means dying; because nothing is more important to her than the people in her life. When she first found out about being a witch it was more of a thing to laugh at than to take seriously, but since her grams died Bonnie feels more strongly about being a witch and has embraced it rather well. She has learned that her powers can be used for good, but that doesn’t mean she won’t use her powers to prove a point to Damon if need be.

Writing Sample (2-3 paragraphs; proper grammar)

With a small sigh Bonnie closed the book that was on her lap.

She carefully placed it onto the floor with the others and looked around her room, it felt like ages since she had left, but she had made a promise to Elena to find out something about her necklace and yet it wasn’t easy seeing as some of the books had been burnt. With a small yawn she pulled herself from her bed and looked in the mirror that hung by her door, she needed a good nights rest, but she was having nightmares again, of things she couldn’t prevent. It bothered her to the point where she had basically given up on sleep, even if she knew it was a bad idea.

However, she wasn’t going to let any of that bother her, not tonight at least. Tonight was senior prank night, and she was going as a normal human girl with her two best friends, because that was how live should be, or at least they could pretend it should be that way. Bonnie could only imagine how Elena was dealing with everything, from loosing Stefan to Klaus, her aunt being killed by Klaus and everything around her falling to pieces.. Bonnie could only admire Elena fore trying to be strong and trying to be as human as she could be. It was how they were going to survive in this life, unless they wanted to let the world of the supernatural to cave in on them they had to act as human as possible.

Of course that was always easier said than it was done.

Tonight would be a test to see how Elena, Caroline and Bonnie could act human around those who had no idea about the supurnatural world, and Bonnie was going to hope for the best. She wasn’t always positive, if anything she was the complete opposite, and yet she wanted to show that she could be positive, if not for herself it would be for Elena. So, with a small sigh and a quick smile she nodded at her reflection before she grabbed her purse and made her way from her room to her car. Tonight they were all human, nothing bad would happen, and Bonnie wouldn’t bring up the nightmares she had been having.

okay, what about if you were creating an oc for a specific plotline with someone? would that be okay? :)

Well, if it’s an already existing character that you’re going to have plot with, you’ll need to check with them. Then past that, all we can tell you at this point is to go ahead and apply and we’ll decide from there!

Personality: Lexi’s caring, loving, funny and pretty much everything you want in a best friend. Stands her ground against people like Katherine and Damon and sticks up for herself. Isn’t your typical girly girl and likes to get stuck in with everything that’s happening around her.
Writing Sample (2-3 paragraphs; proper grammar): (used from this rp if thats okay) Standing in the doorway of Stefan’s room, Lexi sighed, why did it still have to be like it was when she was here last, why did it still smell of him, everything about it made memories floor back at the blonde, everything that had happened between the two of them flooded back into her memory at lightening speed and it made her regret being so harsh with him at the start of this whole thing, walking into his room she sat down on his bed, stroking the bed sheets lightly as a smile appeared on her face, she knew Stefan wouldn’t want her to be upset about the past, especially when she had so much to look forward too in the future now she was back.
Hearing what she thought was a knock, Lexi sat perfectly still, waiting to hear another or if she was just imaging things, returning to her thoughts she sat for a moment before getting up and wandering around his room for a little while, noticing a dark checked shirt on the back of his chair, Lexi walked over and picked it up, pulling it round her shoulders as she heard the door open. Maybe there had been someone there originally, but anyone who was welcome at the boarding house didn’t knock before entering.

Walking to the door of Stefan’s room she stopped and made sure the intruder wasn’t at the top of the stairs, when it was clear she walked to the stairs and looked down, her blood automatically boiling at what she saw, Katherine? Speeding down the stairs and standing in front of her, she felt her face change. The sound of her voice made her skin shiver and without warning, Lexi forced the woman against the nearest wall and made sure she couldn’t move. “What are you doing here?”

Personality: Lilth is very much a person who adapts to survive. She does what she has to do to stay alive and she uses who she has to use. However, she does have a heart, she just hides it away for fear that if she gets too attached, she’ll be found by what she’s running from and killed. She’s the same age as an Original and has extraordinary power. Just like the Originals, she is able to compel other vampires, but she also has a secret weapon: She was a witch when she was turned and she kept her powers when she went into the afterlife.
Writing Sample (2-3 paragraphs; proper grammar): This is from an old RP and not my best, but it’s the best I have as of right now.

Townies were extremely boring. In the day and a half Lilth had spent in Mystic Falls, this fact had become abundantly clear. So, she did what every extremely bored vampire/witch hybrid did - go look for entertainment. Lilth snuck out of the boarding house and ran out of town, literally, finding a group of stupid teenagers drinking and acting quite stupid. It didn’t take long for her to compel each of them to not be afraid of anything they might witness that evening and to let her do what she pleased. Obviously, they all agreed. Sometimes, very rarely, being a vampire was a very beautiful gift. She’d started to seduce the most handsome of the bunch and started to feed hungrily on his neck, his blood sliding down the back of her throat and sending a sensation though her that she hadn’t felt in a while. She’d had had issues with controlling herself before and now with all of this available blood before her? She was going to become “bad Lilth” that night. She was sure of it.

Her enhanced hearing heard a faint breath. She stopped feeding on the innocent man to see if she could pinpoint this new heartbeat. Lilth couldn’t risk exposure for several reasons. “I know you’re there,” she whispered in a sing-songed tone. Suddenly, she realized that doing such a thing could be potentially dangerous to her health. If it was Klaus… She was dead. Although if it was Klaus, she was sure he’d make it slow and painful. The brunette returned to her meal. If she was going to die, she’d rather do it on a full stomach.
